Abstract: Many industrial processes involve the use of
significant quantities of toxic and hazardous chemical solvents in reaction
systems and other stages, impacting both the environment and businesses.
Researching green technology involves developing environmentally safe
chemicals suitable for commercial and technological applications. Promising
alternatives for solvent production include supercritical and subcritical
fluids, natural and recycled solvents, and ionic liquids that remain liquid
at room temperature. This overview explores the types of solvents, their
applications, and their potential as eco-friendly industrial solvents. |
